About us

Contact - 07948 358217

We offer positive training for all breeds of dog. Positive training has long been proven to be the most effective form of training as it focuses on a dog's natural way of thinking. Positive training essentially means rewarding but not punishing. The vast majority of healthy dogs will do things that benefit them, and discontinue doing things that don't benefit them. They are essentially selfish, so what we are aiming to do is make all the desired behaviours that we find appealing, also beneficial for the dog.

Seaside

Our principle trainer, Jason, has been training dogs since 1995 and has predominantly dealt with rescue dogs that required extensive training. The latest addition is Toby, who is a rescue Labrador. Toby is in the picture to the right and was 2 years old when he came to live with us. He hadn't had a lot of training, and was quite a live wire, jumping, pulling on the lead, little recall, and very energetic.

So, after many hours of effort, he is becoming a fully integrated member of the family. In the 90's, when Jason started with his first dog, limited information was available. These days, access to the latest research is more accessible and to remain current, Jason has been attending courses with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) to see what new techniques are being used.

We are based in Petersfield in Hampshire, however we are prepared to travel to you if required.

Services We Offer

We offer 1:1 training and group sessions. Group sessions are held in the summer, so please check back or contact us for dates.

Costs are dependent on location and requirements, please contact us for details. 1:1 will require an initial consultation, and from there a plan will be created to focus on your dog's specific needs.

As a guide, a 1:1 evaluation, including a full training plan, will be £200 if you are within an hour of Petersfield. This 1:1 session will take approx two hours.

Once we have had the 1:1 session, ongoing sessions will be £100 per hour.

Is this expensive? We get a lot of questions about the price, so it's worth pointing out here that although you may only see our trainer for an hour or so, they will have spent an hour in advance preparing, and an hour afterwards writing up the notes, so each one hour session is about three hours for us.

Dog walking can be required for many reasons, you may be out working, too busy, unwell, or a whole host of other reasons.

We will walk with no more than four dogs per group, for a minimum of one hour. Dogs will be on-lead unless they have the owner's permission and have been checked by our team.

Costs - Monday to Friday £15 for a single dog. £25 for two dogs from the same location. Please contact for weekend rates, or multiple day discounts.

We have limited spaces for day care. Please contact us for availability and pricing.

Coming Soon

We can arrange to transport your dog. The most common case is to transport dogs to vet appointments where we can wait with your dog while it attends its appointment and bring it home to you.

Please call for details.
